Guest Musicians
Davey Galt
Davey plays regular gigs in London with his band the J45s. He played with Tony in the company rock band, the Gex Pistols, and also occasionally guests with The Zarrs. He can play guitar both left and right handed! Davey joined TC&J on lead guitar for the 2018 Reunion Tour.
Barbara Doré
Avid band supporter and organizer, who martialled the troops for our 2018 reunion tour. From time to time she’s contributed backing vocals, including live vocals for some of the early gigs. Tony's wife, and the reason many of his songs have seen the light of day.
Steve Rodford
The wonderfully versatile Zombies and occasional Blue Bishops drummer. A wizz on recording techniques as well as drums. Special guest on several songs in "The Festival at the End of the World".
Julie Doré
Haunting, breathy vocalist who doesn't sing nearly enough! Contributor to backing vocals at various times in band's history. Tony's sister, now living in southern France.
Felix Hedderich
Felix is a musician and musicologist from Cologne, Germany. He played bass during the 2018 tour to support the reissue of “All on the First Day” on Tapete Records. Since then he recorded the albums “Bubblegum Noir” with Die Realität (2019) and “Bronco” with The Pioneers (2021).
Rob Jones
Accomplished electric guitarist and all-round musician, a frequent jammer with the band in the 80s. Contributed most of the drum programming on “Fall Away Like Leaves”, not to mention the magnificent guitar solo in the song "Retrospect". Rod's brother.
Emilio Garciacaro
Fine bassist, guitarist and vocalist, originally from Venezuela. Became Tony’s jamming buddy in Houston, who added bass and vocal parts to the album “Fall Away Like Leaves”.
Adam Leon Jones
Versatile multi-instrumentalist (guitar, bass, keyboards) and sound recordist. Adam recently released a self-composed song-cycle, "Fall From Grace". Being Rod's son, he grew up with the music - and we're pleased to say he's now TCJ's regular bassist. Most recently, he played live with TCJ at a concert to mark the release of the podcast "There Are No Greater Heroes".
